Child safety standards

These are the child safety standards for the zotowee app, published by DODO Digital, the developer of zotowee on Google Play and the App Store. They apply to everyone who uses zotowee and to everyone who works on it.
Our commitment
zotowee is a dating app for adults. We have zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) in any form. That includes child sexual abuse material (CSAM), grooming, sextortion, the sexualisation of minors, trafficking, and any attempt to use zotowee to contact, solicit or harm a child. There are no exceptions and no warnings. An account involved in any of this is removed permanently, and we report it to the authorities.
Adults only
You must be 18 or over to use zotowee. We ask for a date of birth at sign-up, refuse accounts under 18, and display age on every profile. If we learn an account belongs to a minor, we close it and delete its content the same day. Anyone who believes a member is under 18 can report the profile in two taps, and we treat every such report as urgent.
What is prohibited
On zotowee you may not:
- Create, upload, share, request or describe any sexual content involving a minor, real or fictional, including drawings, text, deepfakes and AI-generated images.
- Sexualise anyone under 18 in photos, Moments, bios, messages or calls.
- Contact, befriend, groom or arrange to meet anyone under 18.
- Pose as a minor, or claim to be an adult to reach minors.
- Advertise, link to or discuss where CSAE material can be found.
- Use zotowee for trafficking, sextortion or the exploitation of any child.
How we enforce this
- Every profile photo and every Moment is reviewed by our moderation team before or shortly after it appears, and anything that sexualises a minor is removed and the account closed.
- Reports are reviewed within 24 hours. Any report involving a possible child is handled first, by a trained reviewer, and is never auto-dismissed.
- Removal is permanent. We ban the account, the device and the phone number, and we keep the minimum records needed to stop the person returning.
- We report to the authorities. Confirmed CSAM is reported to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and to Indian law enforcement under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012 and the Information Technology Act, 2000. We preserve the evidence for investigators and comply with lawful requests.
- We cooperate with the stores. Google Play and Apple are told about any account removed for CSAE where their programmes require it.
How to report
- In the app: open the profile or the chat, tap Block or report, choose Looks under 18 or Inappropriate photos, and tell us what you saw. Blocking is instant and the report reaches a person.
- By email: write to support@zotowee.com with the subject Child safety. Include the profile name and anything you can show us. We acknowledge within 24 hours and act within 24 hours.
- If a child is in immediate danger, contact the police first. In India call 112, or 1098 for Childline.
You can also report directly to NCMEC at report.cybertip.org, or in India at cybercrime.gov.in.

Our obligations
We comply with the child safety laws of every country in which zotowee is available, including India's POCSO Act and IT Rules, and with the Google Play Child Safety Standards policy and Apple's App Review Guidelines on objectionable content. These standards are reviewed whenever the law or our product changes, and the date at the top shows the last revision.
