About zotowee

zotowee is a dating app for people who are tired of swiping through strangers with nothing in common.

Why we built it

Dating apps got very good at showing you faces and very bad at showing you people. You can swipe for an hour, match with someone, and still have no idea what either of you would do on a free Sunday.

So we started from the other end. You tell us what you actually love doing. We show you people nearby who love the same things, and we put those things right on the card, next to the photo. When you match, you already have somewhere to begin.

How it works

Sign in with your phone. No passwords, no email, no form that takes ten minutes. A code arrives, and you are in. Your number is never shown to anyone.

Build a profile worth reading. Up to 6 photos, the things you are into, and as much or as little about yourself as you want to write.

Meet people who fit. Your deck is built from what you asked for: the people you want to meet, near enough to actually meet, in your age range, sharing your interests.

See who they really are. Moments are short videos members post about their own life. A hobby, a Sunday morning, the view from a hike. You can like one, say you are interested, or send a line that becomes the first message the moment you match.

Talk properly. Messages arrive instantly. When texting is not enough, call them, voice or video, without leaving the app or giving out your number.

Safety is not a feature we added later

Photos are reviewed before they go live. Members can get verified with a quick selfie checked by a person, and the badge shows on their profile. Blocking and reporting are two taps from any profile or chat, and every report is reviewed. Your exact location is never shared — other people see a rounded distance, and if you choose to appear on the Map your pin is deliberately blurred to an area, never an address.

You can delete your account from inside the app, or from this website without the app, and your profile disappears immediately.

What we will not do

We do not sell your data. We do not run ads. We do not fill the app with fake profiles to make it look busy, and we do not charge you to talk to someone who is not there.

Who we are

zotowee is operated by DODO Digital, based in Navi Mumbai, India. We are a small team that builds the whole thing ourselves: the app, the servers, the moderation tools.
